I’m so happy that I got into this business as it has led me to meet some really interesting people – one of these being Judith Germain, a leadership consultant who assists senior executives to manage their mavericks effectively.

I think Judith is doing a fantastic job in educating senior management to recognise the potential contribution of mavericks within their workforce.

Now as a bit of a maverick myself, I’ve experienced first hand what it’s like to be a high achiever within an organisation whilst at the same time receiving little support from my line manager as a result of me being his ‘worst nightmare’.

If only I’d know Judith back then as I would have sent him on one of her course and got him back all sorted out!!! (There’s a bit of cheeky maverick speak for you!)
